Dear Heart,
Don’t you feel like it is time to heal?
You have been wounded. Again and again, you decided to hope—and they told you hope was for fools. You buried your dreams in the ground, thinking you were ridiculous for having them. You grew to believe that you were weaker for having feelings. You called yourself a “hopeless romantic.” and tried to put a mask on. One that would cover you so you would not be hurt.
You wonder if you will ever find your person—if there is someone out there, over the horizon, for you. You wonder if you will ever belong to a tight community, to a true group of friends. You wonder in silence what happened to friendship, to love…
Let me tell you something: you are not alone.
If you feel a deep longing for One True Love, for a family and a home, you are not a fool—you are human.
The struggles of so many are kept silent, and that is how they become bigger and have the power to dominate us.
It can be simpler.
It really can.
We are in this together.

I founded The Heart & Reason Project to remind young people that their dreams and the longings of their hearts are not only not ridiculous, they are needed.
We need more people willing to dream, daring to love, and to fight for the ones they love.
If you ended up on this page, it is for a reason.
Join the movement.
Dare to dream again.

The Heart & Reason Project is a place for reflection and community where we face the big, difficult, painful questions; where we share and support each other in the walk towards the big dream: we are made for a great love, and we are not only allowed, but we must dream of it.
